In mid-2011, Point Blue’s founder ended up spending a bit of time in Tanzania. A former colleague of his at SolidWorks, a $500-million software company based in Boston, asked him to swing by Gasabo 3D in Rwanda to see if that company could use assistance.
What kind of company uses its own website project as a case study? An honest one. While we’d been preaching the benefits of WordPress to our clients, we had completely neglected our own website and had failed to update it since late 2006. It needed serious help.
Northwest Tech, a 25-year-old company based on the outskirts of Seattle, wanted to revamp its website in 2007. Point Blue Communications developed a site entirely based on Adobe Flash, and it clearly delineated NWTech’s educational and commercial divisions.
